  • Botanical Name: Syngonium erythrophyllum 'Red Arrow'
  • Common Names: Red Arrow, Arrowhead Vine
  • Description: Syngonium erythrophyllum 'Red Arrow' is an evergreen climber from the aroid family, Araceae. It's commonly grown as a houseplant for its attractive foliage. Keep it moist in the growing period but allow to dry out a little in between watering during the winter. Keep in medium to bright light, out of direct sunlight. It produces vibrant light green, arrow-shaped young leaves with vibrant purple undersides. The leaves develop into a completely different structure with age. Mature leaves are divided into 3 lobes or 5–9 distinct leaflets and these do not closely resemble the young arrow-shaped leaves.

Every plant ships as a young, well-rooted starter grown by our US nursery partners. Size and shape vary naturally from plant to plant, and product photos show a mature example of the variety.

On arrival:
Unbox right away, let the plant rest out of direct sun for a day or two, then water lightly. A few wilted or yellowed leaves after transit are normal and recover quickly.
Planting:
Pot up in a well-draining mix, or plant outdoors once the risk of frost has passed in your USDA zone. Each listing states the zone, light and watering the plant prefers.
Safety:
Many ornamental plants are toxic if eaten. Keep them away from young children and pets unless the listing states the plant is edible.

Shipping

We ship to the 48 contiguous US states only. We are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO Boxes, or internationally at this time.

Orders are prepared and shipped from our US grower partners within 1 to 3 business days, and you will receive tracking by email within 48 hours of your order shipping. Most orders arrive 2 to 6 business days after shipping. Shipping is FREE on every order, with no minimum purchase.

Cold-weather protection: during colder months we include a heat pack when needed, and may briefly hold your order if temperatures along the route drop below roughly 30F (-1C) to protect your plant. This can add a few days but greatly improves arrival condition.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Every order is covered. If your plant arrives damaged, unhealthy, or does not survive shipping, email info@greenleafventuresllc.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the plant and packaging. Once approved we will send a free replacement or issue a refund - your choice. You do NOT need to ship the plant back.

What is not covered: normal transit stress that recovers with care, damage from leaving the package outdoors in extreme temperatures, or decline after the 30-day window due to home care conditions.

Returns: because live plants cannot be resold after leaving our grower partners, we do not accept physical returns. We resolve issues quickly through replacement or refund.
