Low Light Plants

Plants that keep their looks in a north-facing room, a hallway, a bathroom with one small window, or an office desk away from the glass. None of them need a grow light.

Low light does not mean no light. Every plant here still wants a spot bright enough to read a book in during the day - just not direct sun on the leaves. In that kind of spot, expect slower growth and longer gaps between waterings than the same plant would want in a bright window, so check the top inch of soil before you reach for the watering can. Overwatering, not darkness, is what usually kills a low-light plant.

Every plant ships free from a US nursery partner and is covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee.
